Nirimba
TAFE NSW Nirimba at Quakers Hill is situated on the traditional lands of the Dharug People.
Quakers Hill is 40 km from the Sydney CBD in the local government area of the City of Blacktown. The leafy, green campus shares the Nirimba Education Precinct at Quakers Hill with co-educational senior secondary colleges. At the Nirimba campus you’ll enjoy modern architecture with rolling hills, blue skies and landscaped gardens.
TAFE NSW Nirimba is Western Sydney’s major training centre for building and construction. As part of TAFE NSW’s Centres of Excellence (COE), the facility has specialist building, bricklaying, roof tiling, carpentry and joinery facilities. Logistics, information technology, business services, child studies, community services, and music and entertainment are catered for. Facilities to support industry skill-building are also dedicated to child care and music, such as the Entertainment Nirimba, a purpose-built, contemporary music centre. Additionally information technology (IT) studies has its own specialist centre, while the GreenSkills Hub is a state-of the-art laboratory for environmental sustainability.
